New Lomo Pics

A couple of selects from the last batch of Lomo stuff I have. These are rolls 2, 3, 4 since I've been shooting with this camera. I've shot about 14-15 rolls but I have a big back log of stuff still to process. I'm thinking of buying a neg scanner to try to curb the cost of printing proofs - I'm still trying to figure out if it's worth it or not...

Film was processed this time at Henry's. Scans were made from proofs with a Canon Lide30 scanner. Color balance adjustments were made to compensate for the blue-ish tinge from the scanner. Other than that they look pretty close to the actual proof.

There's a mix of day to day candids as well as some set stuff from "Foley", "Lost Sock", "A Short Film", etc.

The B&W images resonate the best with me but I think B&W always do no matter the camera. Even when you take a color image and suck the color out of the image it all of a sudden seems to mean that much more. The absense of color seems to allow your eye to focus more on the subject at hand. Whether that's a false inflation of the moment captured or not I'm not sure... Does it really matter?
