Busy Busy Busy

Finished the music video "Teacher" for Stacey Kaniuk. I think it turned out quite well and I'm excited to direct/shoot another one. Brewing a new idea that will hopefully go to camera in the next year. Will post a version of the finished video soon.

Working with my friend AJ in about 2 weeks on a short film for the "On The Lot" competition. I'm excited about the idea and the visual possibility. It's loosely based on an old story with a modern day angle. Will post more details as we get there.

Just ordered an Lomo LC-A+ camera and excited to start shooting more regularly. There are some really interesting images being captured with it. You can check out stuff at www.lomography.com. I love the off-the-cuff-candid approach that is the lomography philosophy. For me it's important that my still photography balance out the constructed, maticulous, attention to detail approach that I try to take with my cinematography. Will post images as soon as I have something to show for.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Locked picture yesterday on a music video I shot/directed in December for my friend Stacey Kaniuk. I'm going to be spending the next 2 or 3 days working on the effects and colour correction. I'm excited to get going on it. Kudos to James Obryan (my all time camera assistant / part time editor) for hustling to get it done. Job well done! Will post it when it's done.

A couple of added resolutions for 2007:

- Drink more water
- Drink more herbal tea
- Drink less Coke
- Floss
- Pay my bills on time :-p
